Last friday, I finished my final day of work at Barnes and Noble Booksellers. I have worked there for nearly three years, as I completed my MDIV and threw myself into church planting. It has been a great job where they were very flexible with my schedule, and gave me a place to at times support myself as I followed what the Lord had for me. I am so very thankful for all the folks that I worked with there! From Steve to Laura to everyone else, thanks for making me look forward to unloading 50 pound boxes out of trucks in all kinds of weather!

speaking of weather...it is CRAZY! We have had a major blizzard go through Kansas City. This is the view from our apartment balcony. At times, we could not see the other building across the parking lot. (and yes...I haven't taken the Christmas lights down yet....too many winter storms in January!) We are hunkering down, and now trying to scoop out of it. Not sure if Leslie or I will have much to do the next few days...but, we got enough snow out of the way to make it to The Filling Station coffeeshop this morning. After a day, we already had cabin fever!

I also continue to read the above book. It is a great book that really challenges you on how you view your life, and God. Ravi Zacharias is the real deal. A great man who loves the Lord, and the Word of God. I highly recommend it.
